Corporate Engagement and Outreach Manager
Organizational Overview:
The Palestinian Education for Employment Foundation (PEFE) is an affiliate of the US-based non-profit Education for Employment Foundation (EFE). EFE has five affiliates in Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Palestine and Yemen with a sister foundation in Spain. The mission of PEFE and all affiliates is to create job opportunities for unemployed youth in the Middle East and North Africa by providing world-class professional and technical training that leads directly to career-building jobs. Our vision is a future in which all young people have the chance to reach their full potential through satisfying careers that enable them to contribute positively to their societies and their world.
Responsibilities
The Palestinian Education for Employment Foundation seeks to recruit a qualified Corporate Engagement and Outreach Manager to join its team at its headquarter in Ramallah. Due to the nature of the position, the PEFE desires a Corporate Engagement and Outreach Manager who is goal-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized, and works well very close collaboration with senior staff. The Corporate Engagement and Outreach Manager will report directly to the General Director on a number of strategic goals including, but not limited to:
-Manage private sector partnerships encouraging corporate contributions and increased job commitments from employer partners.
-Work closely with the program and finance teams to coordinate programmatic initiatives and outreach efforts strategically.
-Effectively articulate the PEFE mission, vision, and strategy to a variety of audiences through advertisements, one-on-one meetings, and at public events such as conferences.
-Utilizing personal and professional contacts in the Palestinian private sector conduct formal market needs assessments (interviews, surveys, and focus groups) on an ad hoc basis.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
-An advanced degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, International Relations, Project Management, or a related field.
-3-5 years of proven experience in program management and outreach to high level corporate stakeholders.
-Technical skills: computer proficiency, budgetary planning, English and Arabic language proficiency, public speaking.
-Soft Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills; great teamwork abilities and a willingness to show initiative; ability to coordinate multiple goals over time.Proven project management experience
-Valid driver’s license
-Knowledge and relations with the Palestinian private sector
