Credit & Collection officer
Working knowledge of:
1-Interviewing techniques to obtain factual information.
2-Office practices and procedures and record keeping practices.
3-Methods and techniques used to analyze the financial conditions of debtors and to make collections.
4-Fair Debt Collection Act and of the basic laws pertaining to the collection of funds.
Some knowledge of:
1-Human motivation and behavior;
2-Small claims court procedures.
Ability to:
1-Exercise resourcefulness and ingenuity in gathering needed information from a wide variety of sources.
2-Establish effective rapport with debtors, responsible relatives and other parties to obtain information and elicit cooperation.
3-Independently evaluate information and initiate action within prescribed guidelines.
4-Establish and maintain accurate records and files.
5-Understand, apply and explain pertinent laws and procedures concerning collections and the seizure and sale of personal property.
6-Compose correspondence .
7-Make arithmetic computations.
8-Learn computer applications and to accurately input and access information on an on-line, real-time system.
9-Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
Education and experience :
1-Minimum of 2 years' experience .
2-Bachelor degree in Accounting , business administration or finance from Reputable university.
3-English language proficiency
