‘Cultural Advisor and Project Assistant’ vacancy
The British Consulate-General is seeking to recruit a ‘Cultural Advisor and Project Assistant’ for the benefit of British Support Team- the United States Security Coordinator- Ramallah (BST-USSC-R). This post will be based in Ramallah and will start as soon as possible.
The main purpose of the job is to provide cultural advice, Project Management and Administrative support to the Senior British Officer (SBO) and Technical Advisors of The British Support Team (BST) in order for the team to meet its objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
-Masters degree or equivalent.
-Interpreter level English and Arabic with experience of technical, governmental language.
-Basic level Hebrew.
-Innate understanding of Palestinian, Jerusalemite, Israeli and International culture.
-Experience of networking with people from the military and political spheres in a multinational environment.
-Facilitation and Mediation skills.
-Project Management experience (helpful).
