Cybersecurity Engineer

Aeliasoft is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive 2-week training program to familiarize themselves with our cybersecurity protocols and procedures. This is a one-year commitment with the potential for extension, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security posture of our organization in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access, modification, or destruction.
2. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
3. Monitor security events and incidents, investigate breaches, and implement appropriate responses.
4. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
5. Configure and manage security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
6. Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity.
7. Provide guidance and support to colleagues on security-related matters.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle of systems and applications.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or similar role.
3. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
4. Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and penetration testing tools.
5. Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
6. Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Must be located in Saudi Arabia, preferably in Riyadh, and able to commit to a one-year term with the possibility of extension.
