About PRCS:

The Palestine Red Crescent Society is a national society with legal personality and is one of the components of the International Movement of the Red Cross and Red Crescent. PRCS works in the field of humanitarian work, relief, health and social services.

Responsibilities:

• Mine and analyse data to drive optimization and improvement of services development.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Develop & use processes and tools to collect / monitor / analyse and visualize data and reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Programming or any related field.
• 2 to 3 years experience  in data analysis / Programming languages.
• Experience using statistical computer programming languages and tools to manipulate data and draw insights.
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.).
• Experience in analysing / visualizing /presenting data and reports for stakeholders.
