Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Producing mechanical engineering models and drawing to relevant standards
• Preparing shop drawings for various sold elevators & escalators. 
• Creating and executing engineering change requests to existing products.
• Designing and organizing manufacture of prototypes.
• Verify and document workmanship compliance with specifications
• Insure all required tests are performed, documented and submitted in accordance with the specifications.
• Serves as Supervisory, Technical Lead for workmen in workshop.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Skills:

• Experience with modeling of 3D shops using Solid Work.
• Work well as part of a team as well as independently.
• Time management, able to juggle many projects and deadlines. 
• Proficiency in computer software applications (Word, Excel, etc…).

Qualifications:

• An Ideal Candidate should be a Bachelor degree at least with specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year related work experience.
