Name of Post

Bachelors or Masters in computer sciences/engineering or any field of IT from a reputed UGC/HEC recognized university/institution.

Qualification

2 years experience at a local or foreign software house of good repute in a similar role and position. Professional experience will start after the completion of minimum qualification/degree(s) required for this position. Preference will be given to the professionals with industry standard certifications in the respective discipline

Experience

-Hands on experience of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5/2.5/2.0 for website/portal development, administration and management.

-Sound knowledge/experience in ASP.Net (VB.Net), XML, Ms SQL 2005/2008

-Should have hands-on skills in Scripting languages, CSS, Macromedia and Adobe Suits.

-Demonstrable knowledge about features of different software packages, web/portal and database servers and operating platforms.

-Hands on experience of defining and implementing security procedures and policies for public and internal web portals.

-Extensive experience of configuration, management and troubleshooting of web and application servers, operating platforms and backend database servers hosted for different public and private web portals.

-Well versed about the configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of database and application servers on different operating platforms.

-In depth knowledge of leading web based software development technologies and techniques relating to website/portal design, development and maintenance/up gradation.

- Well versed about the multi tier vs. client/servers models of software systems and connectivity with relational database systems for transactional and analytical systems.

-Well versed regarding deployment and installation packages and guidelines for new releases and patches of website/portal systems and applications

-Ability to program the site in accordance with the specific needs of the department to serve the work, to be with previous experience in programming formats and converted to databases.
