DevOps Engineer

Job Description

BA/LGHR is recruiting a DevOps Engineer to join the IT Department Team in a leading Services Company, located in Ramallah, Palestine.

Type of Contract: Permanent - full-time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understanding business requirements, technical solutions, and project KPIs.
Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
Setup and configure source code management, test automation, containers automated deployment using various and appropriate CI/CD DevOps tools.
Continuous improvement of CI/CD Pipeline.
Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results.

Job Requirements

Special Requirements & Skills:

Minimum 3 years of experience in the DevOps domain.
knowledge of programming languages.
Ability to document gap analysis.
Good knowledge of Software development life cycle.
Strong database skills and knowledge of writing SQL queries.
Experience with troubleshooting techniques for code bugs.
Good experience with cybersecurity measures, vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Good experience with using Xcode and similar tools for capturing logs and app installation.
Good experience with XPath, CSS, DOM.
strong problem-solving skills
Strong System administration skills with different Operating systems (Unix, Windows).
Experience with different CI/CD DevOps tools.
Experience with container networking on Docker.

Total Years of Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in the DevOps domain.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.

Location:
Ramallah.

Languages Required:
Fluent in Arabic & English.
