Director of Finance

Established in 1995, BCI was founded to meet the needs of emerging regional ICT markets
with a sound knowledge base and a strong network of global partners, BCI has since evolved into a regionally recognized advisor and provider of top of the line services and solutions spanning a range of sectors. BCI is intending to recruit a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Director of Finance.

Main responsibilities:
-Managing accounting and financial systems and maintain full and accurate accounting
-Records;
-Conducting financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements;
-Providing financial and accounting advice, direction and leadership to at least 6 accountants;
-Monitoring the Chart of Accounts and maintaining commitment controls;
-Providing and interpreting financial information;
-Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
-Analyzing change and advising accordingly;
-Formulating strategic and long-term financial plans;
-Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
-Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
-Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
-Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

Qualifications and Skills required:
-A Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management.
-Professional accounting designation preferred (CMA, CPA, CIA, CFA).
-Minimum of 10 years of experience, at least five years in financial management.
-Excellent managerial and communication skills.
-Attention to details, analytical and problem solving skills.
-Must have good interpersonal skills.
-Financial Planning & Strategy Skills.
-Statistical Analysis & Reporting Skills.
