Established in 1984, MAP works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP supports programmes providing health and medical care to vulnerable Palestinian communities in West Bank, Gaza and in Lebanon in partnership with local organisations.

We are seeking to recruit a Director of Programmes (DoP) for our operations in the West Bank.  Based in the MAP office in Ramallah with a small support team, the DoP is responsible for the management of MAP’s portfolio of programmes in the West Bank which includes emergency and development programmes delivered with and through local partners. As a member of the senior management team, the role involves developing new projects, promoting effective working relationships with local partners, donors and communities, linking closely with MAP’s offices in Gaza and London and acting as MAP’s representative for Palestine.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of the development and management of health-related projects in Palestine, including financial management and project cycle experience, and a vision of how MAP’s role can be strengthened and developed. They will have a wide network of contacts and be a credible spokesperson for the organisation.
