About Treedom for Palestine: Treedom for Palestine, in partnership with our on-the-ground partner, the Palestinian Farmers Union (PFU), is dedicated to revitalizing and empowering Palestinian communities through sustainable agriculture. Together, we plant Freedom Farms across the West Bank, transforming underused lands into flourishing agricultural sites that provide sustainable income and enhance environmental resilience.
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Documentary Photographer to capture the evolving story of our Freedom Farms. This full-time role involves photographing and filming the farmers and initial planting, installation of fencing and irrigation systems, as well as the growth and development of the farms over time. You will be responsible for producing powerful images and multiple video clips that showcase the impact of our work—from the intricate details of olive tree cultivation to the broader agricultural landscapes and the profound connection between the land and its farmers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture 15-20 high-quality photographs, both staged and documentary style, and 2-3 video clips of various stages of farm development.
- Document key activities including tree planting, system installations, and the daily life and work of farmers.
- Provide before and after imagery, and return for annual updates to show the farm's progression.
- Catalog and digitally file all materials efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with our team at the PFU to ensure the visual branding of Treedom for Palestine is strong and consistent.
Intellectual Property Rights:
All photographs, videos, and related media produced as part of this role will become the sole property of Treedom for Palestine. The photographer agrees to transfer any and all rights, ownership, and interests in the images and footage to Treedom for Palestine upon their creation.

Requirements:
- Professional experience in both still photography and videography, with a portfolio demonstrating your work in agricultural or environmental settings.
- Proficiency in English and skillful use of editing software such as Photoshop.
- Strong organizational skills for managing extensive photo and video files.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with farmers and team members effectively.

Work Environment:
- Based out of the Palestinian Farmers Union (PFU) office in Ramallah, coordinating with regional PFU offices.
- Remote work from home as required, ensuring flexibility and effective communication.
- Extensive travel across the West Bank is required; candidates must have their own vehicle
