Domestic Supervisor/Storekeeper

St John Eye Hospital Group is the leading provider of eye care in East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip. The main Hospital is in Jerusalem and has centers in Hebron, Anabta, Kufur Aqab and in Gaza. In addition to our extensive range of specialist services, to provide full and comprehensive high standard refraction and optemtric service to the patients attending the outreach clinic in collaboration with the medical, nursing and AHP staff. 

St. John is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Domestic Supervisor /Storekeeper on full-time (100%) 6 days / week (40hours). The position will be based at the main Hospital in Jerusalem.

To apply you should have the following:

1. First Degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or relevant field.
2. Ability to speak and write English and Arabic, preferably Hebrew.
3. Extensive experience in leading and managing teams especially ancillary staff.
4. Extensive previous experience of Domestic Services/Hospitality Management preferably in the Healthcare or Hospitality industry.
5. Experience in stock control and managing stores.
6. Experience & Knowledgeable in Customer Care “Best Practice.”
7. Experience of monitoring staff and dealing in performance management. (capability/disciplinary).
8. Competent and experienced in completing daily management information e.g. organising rotas and work schedules etc.
9. Competent in the use of IT Applications e.g. Word, Excel, etc.
10. Experience/Knowledge in planning and organising.
11. Working Experience/Knowledge of related health & safety measures.
12. Excellent Appearance & Grooming.
13. Able to Prioritise & Organise own/others workload management.
14. Proven personality who is both Robust, Assertive and can adopt a positive working team ethos.
