The Belgian Development Agency (BTC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Government (MoLG)is implementing a program aimed at providing support to the Local
Government.

The program will have three components:
1-Support for MoLG Capacity Development.
2-Support for reform and improved capacities and services in smaller LGUs.
3-Support for newly amalgamated municipalities (MDP-aligned).

BTC in coordination with MoLG is seeking to recruit highly qualified personsto fill in the
following vacancy:

Location and duration: Ramallah, 2 years with possibility for extension.
Focus: component 1of the program:

Responsibilities and tasks
-Drives project’s vehicle for the transport of authorized project personnel and missions in town
and during field trips.
-Plans and schedules routing for field trips; collects and updates security information relating to field trips.
-Delivers and collects mails, cheques, documents and other items.
-Responsible for the day to day maintenance for the vehicles (check oil, water, tire pressure,brakes etc; arranges for repair and ensures that the vehicles are kept clean.
-Runs errands for the project’s office (office supplies etc).
-While in the office, executes minor maintenance tasks at the office, supervises external maintenance workers called to work at the office, assists in photocopying whenever needed, acts as receptionist in absence of administrative assistant.
-Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:
-Completed secondary Education.
-Clean driving license and safe driving record.
-At least 5 years of work experience as a driver.
-Technical knowledge of West Bank road systems.
-Excellent command of Arabic and English, good command of spoken Hebrew, computer

knowledge would be an asset.
-Readiness to work irregular hours, including at night/weekends.
-Residence of Ramallah City.
