International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global, humanitarian, nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs. Established in 1984 by volunteer doctors and nurses, International Medical Corps   's mission is to improve the quality of life through health interventions and related activities that build local capacity in underserved communities worldwide. By offering training and health care to local populations and medical assistance to people at highest risk, and with the flexibility to respond rapidly to emergency situations, International Medical Corps rehabilitates devastated health care systems and helps bring them back to self-reliance. International Medical Corps has been present in Gaza since 2009.

International Medical Corps is currently recruiting staff to be based in Gaza, for a US Agency for International Development funded project. Gaza 2020: Health Matters is a five-year intervention designed to improve the resilience of the health sector in Gaza by increasing access to and quality of emergency and essential health services provided by NGOs, CBOs, and private providers.

-Ensures Cost-Savings through Proper use of Vehicle. Accurate Maintenance of Daily Vehicle       Logs, and Provision of Inputs to Preparation of the Vehicle Maintenance Plans and Reports.
-Ensures Proper Day-to-Day Maintenance of the Assigned Vehicle Through Timely Minor Repairs, Arrangements for Major Repairs, Timely Changes of Oil, Check of Tires, Brakes, Car Washing, etc.
-Ensures Availability of all the Required Documents/Supplies Including Vehicle Insurance, vehicle logs, Map of the City/Country, First Aid Kit, and Necessary Spare Parts...etc.
-Drive the Team According to the Movement Planning.
-Apply IMC Security Guidelines and Specific Instructions Related to Each Movement.
-To Safely and Securely Ensure the Transportation of IMC Personnel and Deliveries throughout the Gaza Strip
-Driving Staff and Deliverables to and from Destinations Including Project Sites as Required.
-Checking the Road, Location, Destination and Security Situation before Each Journey.
-Checking that all Tools (jacks etc) and items (Spare Tires and First Aid Kit etc) are always kept in the Vehicle
-Keep Vehicles Clean and Tidy
-Observing Safe Driving Practices and Respecting Speed Limits as required within the Palestinian Law in Gaza
-Perform Any Other Additional Duty on Request of his/her Supervisor

Skills and Requirements:
-Must have secondary education as minimum.
-Valid driving license for two years at least.
-Minimum three years of previous work experience as driver with INGO.
-Minimum Qualifications of English Language skills for driving position.
-Knowledge in Mechanics and cars maintenance.
-Knowledge in safety rules and Gaza strip streets.
