The Terre des hommes Foundation - Lausanne a Swiss-based international non governmental organisation dedicated to children’ assistance and protection, is looking for an experienced

Position: Driver
Location: Gaza Office.
Duration: 1 year.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the supervision of the log administrator, the driver is responsible for:
-Ensuring the safe and adequate use of vehicle for transportation of personnel and goods.
-Ensuring the good running of the vehicle (following the fuel consumption, the maintenance needs).
-Respecting and appling Tdh regulations, and security rules.
-Providing logistic support to the base (procurement, inventories…).

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCES:

-Previous experience with INGO as a driver.
-Clean valid driving license
-Extensive driving experience
-Knowledge in mechanics and car maintenance
-Knowledge in safety rules
-Good writing and reporting skills
-Arabic as mother tongue. English is an asset.

PERSONAL QUALITIES REQUIRED:
-Patient, careful, regular at work
-Ability to be flexible and to work in close collaboration with team members.
