Driver

Catholic Relief Services is an international aid agency and has been present in the Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza since 1961. The CRS JWBG country program currently supports development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of civil society, humanitarian assistance, youth development, education, and peace & justice. CRS is implementing the Civic Participation Program (CPP), a three year project funded by USAID that aims to strengthen the Palestinian civil society, by increasing Palestinian civil society organizations’ (CSO) viability and promoting civil society’s institutional development throughout the West Bank and Gaza.

CRS is seeking highly qualified candidates for the following position:

Position Title: Driver, Ramallah-based
Reports to: Chief of Party

Job Summary

Driver is responsible for driving CRS staff, guests, partners and other associates to various project sites or meeting locations in West Bank. Other key duty is to perform regular maintenance of a preventive nature, and other routine vehicle maintenance functions, along with other daily vehicle records. The driver will be also responsible to complete daily vehicle log sheet and ensure registration and insurance documents are kept up to date as well as providing basic logistics support to the program activities.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:
-Palestinian Valid driving license
-High School diploma or equivalent
-At least four year’s driving experience, preferably for an international NGO or business; management and/or mechanical/repair background a plus
-Willingness to travel extensively.
-Computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets
