“(E- Commerce Officer) is a person who will create and implement strategies that make online transactions possible. You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans.”

Responsibilities:

E-commerce officer require a blend of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Some key skills and tasks include:

  1. Digital Marketing Knowledge: Create and implement online marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales.
  2. Website Management: Oversee the functionality and user experience of the e-commerce platform.
  3. Data Analysis: Analyze customer behavior, sales data, and website metrics to make informed decisions.
  4. SEO Optimization: Implement SEO techniques to improve the visibility of the online store in search engine results.
  5. Content Management: Develop and manage product listings, ensuring accurate and appealing product descriptions.
  6. Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilize CRM tools to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
  7. Payment Processing: Ensure secure and efficient online payment processes.
  8. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels, preventing overstock or stock outs.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  1. University degree (minimum of first degree) in Marketing (Minor E-Commerce) or any other relevant field.
  2. 2 years’ experience in e-Commerce websites and ecommerce business, technicalities, best practices and online customer behavior
  3. Knowledgeable experience in B2B sales.
  4. Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
  5. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  6. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  7. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  8. Ability to communicate in English.
