Economic Development Project Officer - Gaza based.
 
Oxfam GB is looking for a Project Officer to contribute to its Economic Development Programme in the Gaza Strip that includes a 3-year project funded by DANIDA.
 
The position is a fixed-term contract up to June 19th, 2014 and based in Gaza.
 
If you are interested in applying you will have experience in the Economic Development sector in Gaza & awareness of its issues. Oxfam will be implementing this programme through a range of partners; therefore experience in working with & capacity building partners is essential. You will have well developed project cycle management skills, experience in value chain market mapping and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work across sectors and within teams effectively.  Specific experience in one or more of the following sectors would be an advantage – ICT, Dairy and Vegetable Processing. Excellent communication skills in English as well as Arabic and experience in the NGO sector is a must for this role.
