Economic Policy Expert

Technical Assistance to the Ministry of National Economy:

The Ministry of National Economy is seeking a Economic Policy expert.The specialists would have an intimate Knowledge of the economy of Palestine and the Middle East region, a detailed awareness of the challenges currently faced by the Palestinian economy, and its potential competitive advantages.
The expert will provide the needed assistance to the Ministry and the Minister on translating the
economic vision for Palestine rooted in the principles and logic set forth in the 13th government plan
(Ending occupation, establishing The State).

Key Qualifications:
-At least Masters of economics, preferably in Economic Policy with basic knowledge of econometrics, phD is a strong plus.
-At least 3 years of extensive experience of Economic Policy formulation and assessment.
-Extensive knowledge in the Palestinian economy.
-Extensive knowledge in statistics treatment and quantitative analysis.
-Demonstrated, dynamic, and inter-personal capability.
-Excellent command of written and spoken English.
-Professional computer skills (Microsoft office.
