Education Lead

World Vision Jerusalem -West Bank- Gaza is seeking:

Education Lead

The successful candidate will:
-Lead the development, implementation, reporting and review of the Education Sector strategy for World Vision JWG
-Lead in the process of identification, assessment and design of new programs
-Provide technical support in program planning, monitoring, evaluation reporting and grants acquisition
-Develop technical models in cooperation with relevant partners and stakeholders
-Lead the capacity building of teams in technical educational models
-Represent WV in local and regional related workshops and communities of practice
-Provide technical supervision to related field staff

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor degree in Education or social sciences. Masters degree preferred
-At least 5 years’ experience in developing and managing educational programming (including education in emergencies)
-Demonstrated experience in program and project design, implementation, monitoring , evaluation, reporting and grants acqusition.
-Ability to work as a team member in an interdisciplinary environment and contribute to this in capacity building
-Excellent communication skills (English & Arabic)
-An energetic, analytical, flexible and self-starting approach
-Organizational and self-management skills
-Problem solving and interpersonal skill
-Thorough knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of Lotus Notes is preferred
-Ability to demonstrate strong collaborative team and networking skills
-Thinking clearly, deeply and broadly
-Commitment to achieving quality results and service
-Valid driving license
-Integrity and strong identification with WV Core Values
-is based in Jerusalem with frequent field visits in the West Bank
