ARD, Inc. is the implementing partner for the USAID funded Civic Engagement Program II. ARD, Inc. is looking for experienced professional to be based in our Ramallah warehouse and Jerusalem office for t he following position:
Emergency Grants Logistician
Duration: 3 months with possible extension
Loc ation: Ramallah and Jerusalem
The Emergency Grants Logician’s main responsibilities are to oversee and coordinate
the flow of USAID funded commodities from the West Bank and other ports of entry to the Gaza strip. This includes coordination and oversight of the various parts of the transportation system as well as maintaining continuous communication with USAID, UN counterparts, and partner INGO to ensure all humanitarian relief coordination efforts are successfully carried out. The Logistician is also responsible for continuous information sharing with the CEP team in Jerusalem and the CEP Warehouse Supervisor regarding the status of warehouse operations, and its capacity to receive additional commodities.
Other requirements include:
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills
- Critical thinking skills and good judgment
- Attention to details and accuracy
- Good emergency management skills
