Engineer

IMG (International Management Group) is an intergovernmental organization involved in
monitoring and in implementing Spanish cooperation funded projects in several municipalities of the West Bank.
IMG is soliciting applications for the position of an Engineer and looking for a dynamic,
highly organized professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills for a
short-term engagement.
Tasks:
Under the direct supervision of the project leader, the engineer will perform the following duties:
• The position is based in Jerusalem office requiring frequent fieldwork visits in the West Bank where the projects are under implementation
• Monitoring of project implementation
• Reporting
• Assist with logistical and travel arrangements when needed
• Perform other tasks necessary to realize project objectives as requested by the project leader
Necessary Qualifications:
• University degree in Civil Engineering or related subject
• At least five years of relevant working experience, particularly in construction and / or
development works
• Good command of written and spoken English and Arabic, knowledge of Spanish would
be an additional asset
• Possessing a driver’s licence B category
• Reliability, initiative, thoroughness and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all project stakeholders
• Excellent computer skill, in particular Word and Excel, e-mail and Internet
