Project Coordinator for Capacity and Institutional Building in favour of Bethlehem Municipality departments for a period of 16 months.
Bethlehem Municipality (BM) has received a Grant from the Italian Government, Palestinian
Municipalities Support Programme (PMSP), through the Ministry of Local Government, for the Capacity and Institutional Building in favour of Bethlehem Municipality Departments, in partnership with Regione Puglia.

Bethlehem Municipality invites highly qualified candidates to apply for the following post:

Job Title: Engineer (Project Coordinator) for the mentioned above project.
Accountable to: Engineering Department
Location: Bethlehem Municipality
Closing Date: Thursday - July 04, 2013

Qualifications and duties:
1-Bachelor degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering, Master degree is preferable
2-Minimum of 12 years of experience as project coordinator.
3-Full knowledge of all necessary software in this field; AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Office
4-Fluency in Arabic and English Languages, writing, reading and conversation.
5-Good communication skills.
6-Extensive knowledge in the Palestinian building law and with previous experience in working in municipalities and local government institutions.
7-Ability to Manage and follow up the project of Capacity and Institutional Building in favour of Bethlehem Municipality Departments.
8-Ability to ensure the implementation of all project activities
9-Advanced skills in preparation of needed reports.
10-Ability to work effectively under pressure of work and outside the official working hours for the Bethlehem Municipality.
11-Priority is given to the applicants of the city of Bethlehem.
