Job Description
The Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF) is a quasi-government organization with technical, financial, and management experience in the field of Municipalities’ development, with particular experience in projects related to infrastructure, capacity building, employment generation, as well as data collection and reporting.
The MDLF is seeking a qualified, experienced, results-oriented staff for the following position:

Engineers (2 positions for one year contract with possible extension)
Main Duties:
-Review and appraise municipalities proposals submitted to the fund for funding.
-Work with municipalities to improve project proposals and communicate with them about their proposals and needs.
-Follow up the procurement process with the municipalities related to the funded projects.
-Provide support during the implementation of projects to insure compliance with MDLF requirements and conduct meetings and site visits as needed.
-Supervise the local technical consultant and manage their contracts.
-Assist in the preparation of procurement plans, project monthly reports, and any required report.
-Conduct other activities as requested by the Technical Department Manager.
Qualifications and Experience:
-University degree in civil engineering, architecture engineering, or related fields.
-Minimum three years experience in engineering, project management.
-Excellent communication skills and presentation in Arabic and English.
-Excellent computer skills, MS office, MS Project, Excel functions and PowerPoint
-Be highly committed, able to work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
-Have a valid driving license
