Job Description
In preparation to extend and expand our programs in entrepreneurship and forming an innovation hub in our center, TYO is seeking an Entrepreneurship Program Director who will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Entrepreneurship Program for all project activities. S/he is responsible for contributing to program design and strategy, building partnerships with local and international organizations to expand the program, developing systems to sustain and improve program quality, providing thought leadership on the latest innovations in the field, and supporting program monitoring and evaluation.
What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
- Lead all program activities for Entrepreneurship and Innovation hub at TYO in Palestine.
- Provide strategic direction toward sustainably expanding the program and becoming a major player in Palestine’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and beyond
- Technical leadership of entrepreneurship programs
- Facilitation of quality trainings on entrepreneurship topics
- Oversee Entrepreneurship Program staff, partners, and beneficiaries on a day-to-day basis to ensure that program objectives and timelines are met
- Build robust partnerships with local and international organizations that can support and expand TYO’s Entrepreneurship Program and the development of sustainable innovation hubs and entrepreneurial communities
- Liaising with various development partners, such as international organizations, private sector companies, NGOs, and local civil society actors.
- Determine resource allocation, including staff’s time and ecosystem-building activities such as events and networking
- Provide thought leadership on local and international entrepreneurship principles and practices, staying on top of innovations in the field
- Support the preparation of high quality, accurate and timely technical and financial reports for funders and project partners as required; Develop systems for capturing program data, protocols and procedures and coordinating project operations
- Support the rigorous evaluation of project performance, impact, including coordinating mid-term and final evaluations, and supporting donor and external reviews

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Business, or related field is required; Masters degree in entrepreneurship, business, or a related field is preferred
- At least 7 years of experience leading entrepreneurship or international development programs including project design, implementation, management, reporting, and improvement; Experience in startups, innovation hubs, and seed funding is preferred
- Expertise and strong connections in the field of entrepreneurship in Palestine; knowledge of relevant entrepreneurship activities regionally and globally preferred
- Experience in team management and in providing team members with mentorship, information, tools and other resources to improve performance and reach objectives;
- Experience with providing technical leadership to large, entrepreneurship programs
- Experience in the facilitation of quality trainings on entrepreneurship topics
- Experience liaising with various development partners, such as international organizations, private sector companies, NGOs, and local civil society actors.
- Sound strategic thinking and planning skills, including ability to think creatively and innovate and to set priorities, manageable work plans and evaluate progress
- Ability to analyze complex data and summarize it for a range of audiences
- Ability to gain support from staff across teams and to build the capacity of others with cross-cultural, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform tasks independently with little to no direction or oversight.
- Deep knowledge of entrepreneurship regionally and internationally
- Familiarity with the political, social, and cultural context of Palestine
- Deep passion and long-term commitment to supporting the sustainable development of marginalized communities in Palestine and beyond
- Ability and willingness to be very flexible and accommodating in changing project needs
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
