SPECIFICATIONS / STATEMENT OF WORK

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) hereby seeks service providers who can provide de-watering pumps for lease in Gaza on needs basis to be used in emergencies. UNICEF will be looking for signing a Long Term Agreement (LTA) for two years with a possibility of one year extension subjected to satisfactory performance. Therefore, This Expression of Interest is to call for service providers who meet below requirements to submit their responses before the deadline stated below.


Requirements:

-To hire on call services on hourly basis, a Heavy Duty Mobile pump self-priming, complete with Diesel Engine Driven, non-clogging impller, Thomposon, BBA, Varisco, G.R or according to BS, ISO, ASTM, EN standards with European, American, or Japan of origin. 4 wheels trailer mounted, wastewater trash centrifugal pump. The unit shall be supplied with complete quick hoses, of 10 m suction hoses, and 200 m of discharge hose. We are looking for the below pump capacities
-Pumps with capacity to pump 500 m3/Hour at total head of 25 meters from levels of 7 meters below suction port and handling solids of 80 mm diameter.
-Pumps with capacity to pump 200 m3/hr, at total head of 25 meters from levels of 7 meters below suction port and solid handling 76 mm diameter.
-Pumps with capacity to pump 100 m3/hr, at total head of 25 meters from levels of 7 meters below suction port and solid handling 50 mm diameter

-To hire on call Service upon hours works for skilled technicians, the service includes transferring the dewatering pumps from and to work sites within south governorates, connecting, laying the pipes and any other work needed to operate the electromechanical system and equipment in proper way.

Interested service providers should be locally registered and able to provide the following documents:

-A proven record of minimum 5 years of work experience related to water infrastructure and desludging
-Records on types and number of pumps available (owned or leased)
-Resumes (CVs) of the most senior three staff members
-Resumes (CVs) for technicians in charge of fixing and operating the pumps
-Registration certificate
-Any other related governmental licence
