Job Description
Palestine Association for Children’s Encouragement of Sports - PACES, an international development charity working in Palestine since 2006. PACES provides healthy, structured after-school sports programs for Palestinian girls and boys and is currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly motivated individual for the following position at its office in Jerusalem:
Post Title: Executive Assistant
Location: Jerusalem
Basic function of position: Provision of effective and efficient administrative and management support services; financial control of the regional office; coordination of all key aspects of the organization; assistance to the project team in managing the programs effectively; and support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing activities
Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Financial Management, Economics, Project Management or a relevant field from a recognized university;
-3 to 7 years of relevant experience in administration or programme support service in a team environment, including strong organizational and administrative skills;
-Fluency in Arabic and English. Knowledge of Hebrew is a plus;
-Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
-Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications and in handling of web-based management systems
-Ability to work in Jerusalem and travel to the West Bank frequently.
-Knowledge about the sports industry in Palestine is a plus
-Having a driving license is a plus
