The Young Women Christian Association of Ramallah is a women organization that works to support economic development for women, as well as promote women’s rights and access to services. The YWCA as a youth oriented organization also aims at creating youth leaders and support children in creative learning. The candidate for the position will be located at the office of the YWCA Ramallah, and is expected to have the following qualifications:
-Be a resident of the Ramallah community and possesses in-depth understanding of the Ramallah community, the NGO circles and social networks.
-Minimum bachelors degree and preferably master’s degree in development or social studies, women studies, management of NGOs, education, public relations or related fields.
-Minimum of 8 years experience in project or NGO management, with minimum of 5 years experience in supervisory roles.
-Very strong communication, computer, and writing skills in English and Arabic
-Strong Leadership and supervision skills, and willingness to work within and lead a team
-Proven skills and experience in program formulation, fundraising and reporting
