Masrouji Group is seeking a highly qualified Export Manager. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Identify potential partners, distributors, and countries, in order to   establish, maintain, and capitalize on business export opportunities
  • Develop the overall sales strategy plan for export sales
  • Manage export accounts to achieve sales targets
  • Manage the contracts of the related Distributor or agent per each country and each line
  • Implement market visits in the region; scan the opportunities, presentation of the products, pricing, and competitors
  • Assure accuracy and completeness of quotes, services, documentation, and billing for export services
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of local requirements related for regulations and pricing, for pharmaceuticals, food supplements, and all potential products
  • Develop export programs to promote new products and support all product promotions
  • Manage monthly-required reports for sales, inventory, forecast, marketing activities and campaigns implementation reports
  • Communicate with importer to assure that all information is accurate and timely, assuring compliance with requirements
  • Deal with agents’ complaints in a professional and helpful manner
  • Organize and attend agent’s visits and represent company at trade shows as part of an agreed plan
  • Build regional database for the contacts per each country, private sector, institutions, key accounts, tender business, and regulations
  • Manage the movement of products in and out of the MENA region in accordance with organizational policy and procedure. This is done in order to comply with relevant local, country, and international law and process
  • Review the product quality requirements per each country through the supply chain process
  • Review and approve import documentation for adherence to payment terms and CBP rules and regulations
  • Obtain revenue goals in support of location and organization objectives 
  • Execute global marketing plans with approved budgets to promote relevant products at MENA markets
  • Establish KPI's and its respective implementation -verification processes
  • Evaluate and improve international documentation processes
  • Maintain key distributors information including billing and shipping history
  • Process commercial invoice documents by validating data integrity and accuracy
  • Communicate with appropriate internal/external customers, including trading desks, freight forwarders, vendors, and customers
  • Handle technical details relating to all possible international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation involved
  • Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency
  • Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A minimum BS degree in Pharmacy required. Masters preferred
  • A minimum 8 years of Pharmaceutical export sales professional experience
  • Ability to travel for prolonged periods
  • A working knowledge of regulatory issues overseas
  • A detailed understanding of Pharmaceutical industry
  • Legalization requirements
  • Dealing with shipping lines
  • Must possess excellent business, negotiation, and leadership abilities with excellent oral and written communication skills
