Background
As part of the global technological map, addressed in the IT MENA where ambitious cities initiatives and mobile connections are being pursued; intelligent technology became the core player in future cities. This year, Palestine Technology Week - Expotech (9-12 November 2014) is discussing the concept of Intelligent Cities.

Besides that Gaza is incubating a new generation of intelligent products and services, we in PITA believe in the smart tech mindsets we have, Therefore we launched this digital contest that you are encouraged to apply to showcase your intelligent idea, prototype or application and win your prize!

Contest Theme
We are calling for innovative ideas of intelligent solutions towards having a smarter life. Ideas to be submitted are under the theme:
Mobility & Smart Management or Smart Industry & Businesses

The competition is divided into two categories:
-Company Based  : ICT Enterprises.
-Individual Based : ICT Entrepreneurs ( including Startups) , Graduates, Researchers. 

Contest Phases :
1-Idea Submission (21- Oct)
2-Notification of Acceptance (23-Oct)
3-Presentation Submission (7-Nov)
4-Judges Evaluation ( 8 Nov)
5-Online Voting ( 9-10 Nov) 
6-Announcements and Full Presentations ( 12- Nov)  

Why should I apply ?
Big Presentation :  Two winners will be provided the exposure necessary to promote their great innovation by presenting their ideas in the IT Conference.
In addition, winners from both categories will be awarded:
1000 USD For Individual 
1500 USD For  Company
