External consultant-evaluater

Medico international is an international non-governmental organization which supports local partners in their endeavours to create the economic, social and cultural conditions which allow each person to attain the highest health standard possible. In particular mi stands by those who are in situations of emergency and in poverty, including refugees and the victims of war.

mi seeks a dynamic, reliable and qualified external consultant (m/f) to evaluate the impact on social conditions of a project being implemented in the area of South Hebron Hills with the title “Provision of Sustainable Energy Services to the Communities of Sha'ab El-Botom, Qawawis, Tha’ale, Khirbat Kharaba & Susya”.  The project is implemented by mi’s partner Comet-ME. 

The consultant should have a solid background in the evaluation of impact using qualitative and community-based methods, and have a good understanding of the situation in the area of South Hebron Hills, preferably with field experience in the area.

In case of identical qualifications in applications, mi will prefer hiring a female consultant, due to the special interest in the impact of the project on women’s lives in the communities.
