MA’AN Development Center is an independent Palestinian development and training institution established in January, 1989, registered by law as a non-profit organization. The main office is located in Ramallah and the four branch offices are located in Gaza, KhanYounis, Tulkarem and Jenin. MA’AN's work is informed by the necessity of creating independent, self-reliant initiatives that lead to the development of human resources for sustainable development, which incorporate values of self-sufficiency and self-empowerment.

MA’AN Development Center is interested in hiring awareness program facilitators on monthly base within a project entitled "Provision of Awareness Raising Discussion Groups on Gender Based Violence (GBV) Prevention". The project includes carrying out of gender based violence awareness raising discussion groups for 1,800 prep school students who are between 13 to 16 years old (50% girls and 50% boys).

Duties and Responsibilities of the facilitator:

The facilitator will report to the project assistant. He/She is going to facilitate the GBV awareness raising discussion groups on the following topics:
-Marriage contract
-Inheritance right
Each facilitator will be responsible for facilitating 30 sessions per month (2 hours each session).

Minimum Qualifications:

-At least a Bachelor degree from recognized university in law or related fields.
-At least, three years of work experience in providing training or awareness raising on legal issues
-Proven experience of working with adolescents
