Job Summary:

The Feed Raw Material Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials used in feed production. This role involves managing a team, maintaining safety and quality standards, and optimizing warehouse processes to support production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and inventory control of raw materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping and stock levels.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of incoming materials and oversee proper handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
• Coordination: Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials in line with production schedules.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate reports on inventory levels, material usage, and warehouse activities for management review.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and operational, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Supervision: Lead and train warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, agricultural engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles, preferably in the agricultural or feed industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices (GWP)
