Field and Security Officer

• Security Management:
• Analyse and monitor political and security conditions in Israel and Palestine.
• Advise on security issues affecting EAPPI operations.
• Maintain and adapt security procedures.
• Serve as an emergency contact and assist with operational logistics.
• Field Monitoring:
• Keep up-to-date with socio-political developments.
• Provide guidance on field issues and maintain relations with local contacts.
• Networking and Coordination:
• Act as a focal point for local and international partner organizations.
• Coordinate and share information with human rights and protective presence organizations.
• EA Supervision:
• Supervise and support Ecumenical Accompaniers (EAs).
• Define and update placement priorities.
• Advise on cultural issues and daily interactions.
• Assist with document translation and report quality.

• Relevant work experience in security in the West Bank or abroad.
• University degree in a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of the political context and Palestinian-Israeli history.
• Familiarity with local church bodies and Abrahamic religions.
• Analytical skills, proactive, and a team player.
• Sensitivity to local cultures and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and irregular hours.
• Jerusalem ID and a valid driving license for Israel and the West Bank (having a car is a plus).
• Fluent in Arabic and English; knowledge of Hebrew is a plus.
