Field Coordinator
General Framework:
A Palestinian NGO that works in the field of empowerment and local development, seeking to promote inclusion and social solidarity in Palestine through empowering marginalized hard- to-reach groups. It aims to enhance the social and political participation of these groups and community activism, to facilitate equal access to public utilities through strengthening the capabilities of young and women, and to provide a reliable database for the political and administrative decision makers in Palestine, and is currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Field Coordinator
Duty Station: Ramallah
Terms of Reference
Functional tasks
Contribute to the preparation of projects operational plans.
Recruitment of target groups in the projects targeted areas.
Manage the logistical framework and activities of the projects.
Follow-up and networking with civil society organizations and officials in the target areas
Engage in designing innovative capacity building processes in coordination with trainers and facilitators.
Contribute to enhance and develop the organizations trainer network.
Follow up and innovatively upgrading the projects websites/social media platforms.
Writing news articles about the projects activities and maintain the flow of information to the Palestinian general public.
Provide technical support for officers.
Maintain proper and transparent financial procedures.
Prepare contracts and services agreements for services providers.
Reporting and follow-up system
The Field coordinator is required to prepare regular weekly and monthly reports to the project’s officer.
Archiving all needed documents for projects at the end of each week to the Public share.
The Field coordinator contributes to the association’s quarterly report.
Qualifications and required skills
Bachelor in law, Business Administration, public administration, civil society organization management, or any specialization of any relevance.
At least two years’ experience as a project coordinator in the NGO filed.
Ability to prepare operational plans.
Outstanding understanding of the political and social Palestinian framework.
Proven experience in working with grassroots.
Outstandinginterpersonal skills.
Advanced skill in the use of computer applications.
Advanced capabilities in working within a team.
Ability to withstand work pressure for long hours.
Ability to prepare reports in Arabic and English.
English language proficiency.
Outstanding networking skills.
Self-motivation is a must.
