Field Coordinator – North
Job Description
PHT is seeking to hire a staff to fulfill the position of “Field Coordinator” in North West Bank to provide technical assistance to the project beneficiaries, monitor of the program activities on the field, ensure that all targeted people have access to the information about the project activities.
He/she will be responsible for the following set of tasks:
- Provide technical support to the partners for its outreach activities.
- Serve as a primary contact person for the project participants and coordinate their participation, including training modules, follow up, mentoring and community projects identification and implementation.
- Be responsible for liaising with the local communities and local CBOs.
- Be responsible for monitoring the achievement of the results set by the project in his/her area of responsibility.
- Be tasked with data collection, submitting progress reports and making logistics arrangements in cooperation with other organization staff.
- Conduct frequent travel within the villages and communities and maintain good working relationships with the program stakeholders including community leaders, relevant government bodies, CBOs, and communities
- Follow up on implementation of the community activities through local CBO sub-grants with project participants and local community engagement.
- Ensure monitoring of project activities, including the training sessions, youth and women activities and project implementation by CBOs, and contribute to the project evaluation.
- Document all program activities, achievements and challenges in weekly templates and monthly reports.
- Provide logistic, organizational support for trainings, monitoring and evaluation, community mobilization and other project events.
- Participate in relevant coordination meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Required qualifications:
- Have a university degree in Development studies or any other related field.
- Three years of working experience in a related field.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Written and spoken fluency in English and Arabic.
- Familiarity with WB projects and community-based Tourism is a plus.
Functional Competencies:
- Actively works towards continuing personal learning and development in one or more Practice Areas, acts on learning plan and applies newly acquired skills.
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
Special Working Conditions:
- Must have driving license.
- Frequent travel as needed, to provide oversight and assistance for on-site project.
- Must be available to work with varied schedules including extensive afternoons and weekends as needed.
Time Frame and Contract
The duration of the assignment is one year, with possibility of extension, on full-time basis. The expected start date for the position is September 15, 2022.
