Job Description
  • Follow up on the administrative and logistics of the Caritas Taybeh Medical Center as staff, ongoing operation, projects’ activities, training sessions, workshops, and field visits.
  • Conduct field visits to gather data and follow up on progress in the area of intervention.
  • Contribute towards the analysis of the needs and demands of the area of intervention.
  • Update inventory regularly and monitor assets stocks (ensure reception and proper storage, consumption/distribution, and follow up on the expiry of any perishable item in stock).
  • Ensure proper reception and storage of any medications, medical and non-medical supplies eventually purchased, and obtain proper consumption follow-up.
  • Follow up on the use of Information technology software and support the team during the daily operations.
  • Maintain and monitor set plans and activities in collaboration with the Head of Health & Emergency Response.
  • Document lessons learned, best practices, and success stories to contribute to learning.
  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment and properties and arrange with suppliers for the maintenance when needed.
  • Make sure that all safety equipment is available and functioning in Caritas Taybeh Medical Center premises.
  • Draft monthly work plans, and minutes of meetings and prepare monthly reports as needed.
  • Monitor risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Handle correspondence and ensure the filing system is maintained and updated properly.

Job Requirements

Academic / Professional background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, public health administration, or other related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position.
  • Experience working with NGOs is highly desirable.
  • Valid driving license.

Specific Skills:

  • Ability to work quickly, under pressure, and with short deadlines.
  • Ability to manage emergencies and remain calm.
  • It is necessary to manage priorities and to adapt them daily according to the context.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and environment.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to listen and share decisions.
  • Alignment with principles and ethics of Caritas Jerusalem.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English and Arabic.
  • A resident of Ramallah Governorate.
  • Deep commitment to the Catholic church mission.
  • Commitment to CJ Code of Conduct and Safeguarding ethics and policies.
  • Adhere to Caritas Jerusalem’s mission and core values.
  • Fluent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
