Catholic Relief Services is an international aid agency and has been present in the Jerusalem, West Bank, and Gaza for over 60 years. The CRS JWBG country program currently supports development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of humanitarian assistance, youth development, education, and peace & justice.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Field Office Staff

Job Summary:

The Field Manager (FM) will assume responsibility for working with the local partners in support of the awarded grants.  Under the supervision and guidance of the Head of Office (HOO) and in close cooperation with other program staff working in Gaza, the FM will be responsible for grants-related planning and implementation, timely and accurate reporting and representation to governmental and nongovernmental organizations.  The FM will organize and oversee the implementation of the projects, providing technical support to local partners and the local committees. FM will also be supervising all program staff working in the Gaza field office.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

1-Graduate degree in international relations, social sciences or related field.  Significant work experience in a directly related field will be considered in lieu of graduate degree.
2-Minimum of five years work experience in development and/or emergency programs
3-Proven success in proposal writing and fundraising;
4-Demonstrated experience in community mobilization, organization and mediation among local actors
5-Strong cross-cultural skills and experience working with people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds
6-Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Arabic. And Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel)
