Field Monitor (FM)
Bayader in partnership with different donors is going to implement a projects which aimed to address the urgent needs of conflict-affected populations for basic services. The intervention include distribution of food, non-food items water services activities, distribution of hygiene kits and hygiene materials, provision of cleaning services for formal public shelters, and providing light maintenance for WASH facilities in non-formal designated shelters. Other activities might be require during the emergency situation and the hired staff will be responsible to carry these activities.
Bayader is seeking highly skilled staff to be hired for the following position:
Position Title: Field Monitor (FM) – Full time
# of Position Available: 10 -15
Place: Bayader Office
Reports To: Project Coordinator (PC)
Period: 6 Months (with possibility of extension upon the availability of the fund)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fmapping survey to the target area where the people displace during this escalation.
- Responsible for the supervision, follow-up and monitoring of project activities in the field.
- Identify key local organizations, committees and communities to plan and jointly conduct outreach events and activities.
- Identify key employers and workplaces to host the project participants.
- Coordinate the daily progress of the projects activities and provide regular on-site supervision of activities implementation.
- Conduct site visits and apply field visits data collection tools.
- Conduct regular field visits to the participants and host bodies.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders and undertake monitoring activities.
- Contribute to the development of project work plans.
- Contribute to the identification of potential difficulties and determining means of lessening or avoiding them.
- Documenting all project phases.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the project coordinator.
- Resident of Khan Younis and Rafah.

Qualification and Experience:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Sociology, or any related field.
- Minimum two years of progressively responsible work experience in a similar position.
- Significant experience working on humanitarian assistance, livelihood projects required.
- Good writing and communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to develop progress reports.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated strengths in relationship management; able to work with diverse groups of people in a multicultural, team-oriented environment.
- Understands and works with local contexts (operational and cultural).
- Resident of Khan Younis and Rafah governorates.
