Job Summary:
You will assist project implementation by working with the Resource Transfer Unit and Information Management team to ensure the program information management system effectively captures program information to support of Catholic Relief Services’ (CRS) work to serve the poor and vulnerable. You will provide responsive, professional service and technical support to CRS staff and partners to ensure efficient operation and use of CRS information sharing and collaboration technologies.

Roles and Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain information management systems and databases. Troubleshoot and address issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Configure and maintain applications and user devices. Provide timely and quality service delivery, technical support, and advice to user requests to ensure proper user access to data and information.
- Support capacity building initiatives, remotely or on-site, to staff and partners to ensure efficient and consistent adoption and use of information management system applications.
- Prepare statistical reports on information management-related data and metrics. As needed, implement measures to ensure required standards are met.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and MEAL teams to ensure the program information management system effectively contributes to the overall emergency response data information needs.
- Compile data provided at the community level as per project requirements and contribute to the preparation of reports.
- Create, test, and maintain web-based applications using Laravel Framework and MySQL.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, Programming, and Information Systems) required. Significant work experience in a directly related field combined with appropriate training/certificates may substitute for degree.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel Framework, and MySQL.
- 2 years of work or volunteer experience in data systems.
- Computer skills required.
Required Languages – Arabic required; professional English proficiency required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in IT-related field (Computer Science, Computer Networking, Programming, and Information Systems) required. Significant work experience in a directly related field combined with appropriate training/certificates may substitute for degree.
- Demonstrated capacity in management of network/server software and hardware devices and platforms.
- Grasp of complex network, security, mobile, desktop, server, telephony, backup, application and database technologies.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery front-end technologies.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
- Familiarity with AWS and other cloud platforms for deployment, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
