Field Physiotherapist

• Assist the field rehabilitation team in screening and assessing the rehabilitation needs in the targeted communities.
• Conduct home visits on a regular basis to assess and identify the needed rehabilitation and physiotherapy interventions for the targeted beneficiaries.
• Coordinate with the field rehabilitation team and the different units of the CBR Program to identify a rehabilitation plan for each beneficiary and propose the proper interventions in compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct PT sessions in the homes of beneficiaries in the targeted localities.
• Facilitate referrals of the beneficiaries to the different service providers upon their needs in consultation with the CBR team.
• Conduct follow-up visits for the beneficiaries to ensure the improvement of their functional and daily living activities.
• Offer technical support to the beneficiaries and their families for the optimal use and upkeep of the assistive devices.
• Write technical reports and update the program’s database.
• Participate in the capacity building activities and regular staff meetings.

Professional Qualifications:

• B.A. in Physiotherapy from a recognized university.
• Valid certificate of practice (شهادة مزاولة المهنة) from the Palestinian Ministry of Health
• At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the local communities.
• Previous experience working with injuries is preferrable.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and reporting skills in Arabic and English.
• Strong computer skills.
• Driving license is a must.
