Field worker

The Society of St. Yves, Catholic Center for Human Rights is looking to hire:

A field officer to be stationed at its Bethlehem office.

The requirements for the position are as follows:
-The candidate must have a university degree in social sciences, media, development, human rights, or any other relevant field
-the candidate must have at least one year of relevant experience
-The candidate must have relevant understanding of Human Rights issues and Advocacy
-Background information about report writing
-The Candidate MUST be fluent in Arabic and English
-Knowledge of the Hebrew language will be an advantage

The candidate is expected among other responsibilities to coordinate with:
-Local councils and Municipalities
-International organizations including UN bodies
-Activists
-Guide groups
-Conduct field visits for documentation
-Collect information relevant to cases
-Conduct interviews with activists and beneficiaries

The position is full time

The position is available for one year renewable upon the mutual agreement of the parties.

The field officer will be stationed at the St. Yves’ Bethlehem office
