Youth Empowerment Center (YEC) is Palestinian non-governmental non-profit organization, working to support the development of Palestinian youth, to lead children, adolescents to discover their purpose, while promoting positive change in the community through Psychosocial support , hygiene promotion and advocacy programs .

YEC has recently awarded grant from Oxfam to implement:
"Strengthening Human and Protection Assistance for Vulnerable Populations"

 YEC  is seeking a qualified young professional to apply for the post of:

Job Title: Filed Monitor (4 posts)
Duration:7 months
Position: Full – time
Line Manager: Field Team Leader

Tasks  and Responsibilities

-    Support Youth Empowerment Center (YEC) in achievement of ECHO project as per signed LoA with Oxfam.
-    Conduct households (HHs) survey respecting the local culture of communities.
-    follow up Filling points installation and management by community group.
-    Building the capacity and following up the performance of community management group
-    Conducting Beneficiaries selection process and finalization of BNFs database
-    Follow up the quantity and quality for water distribution and the performance of  private water vendor
-    Facilitate the role of consultant team and to closely work with them to identify the financial system.
-    Follow the monitoring procedures using the effective monitoring tools
-    Preparing of payment request and its supporting documents for water activity
-    Reporting of water distribution
-    Work on data collection, entry and analysis for all conducted surveys under ECHO project
-    Efficiently work on the IT system, if needed, and be accountable to other monitoring requirements.
-    Following up the complaint system end ensure people satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

-    Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering or Information Technology (IT) or Social Work or any related field.
-    Minimum 2 year of experience in field monitoring and supervision work.
-    Strong organizational understanding and copying skills
-    Strong personalities and good communication skills with community and household
-    Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel).
-    Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
