Financial and Administrative Assistant – Jerusalem Office

Tiri-Making Integrity Work is an international non-governmental organisation which aims to promote integrity and good governance in private and public sectors worldwide.

Tiri seeks a dynamic, reliable and qualified Financial and Administrative Assistant to be based in Jerusalem. The incumbent shall render support in the areas of finance, day to day control and maintenance activities, purchasing, and other administrative responsibilities.

Main tasks and responsibilities
The successful candidate shall perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

-Assisting Finance Manager in the processing of payment requests and daily financial transactions to ensure an efficient financial flow process and timely payments for the goods and services required for the implementation of project activities.
-Supporting the production of the management accounts on a monthly basis.
-Assist in the processing of Accounts Payable/Receivable.
-Assist with payroll reporting
-Assist the Jerusalem Office Manager in monitoring inventory of office supplies and preparing purchase requests as received from vendors.
-Assist in the process of Inventory preparation and reconciling the assets register.
-Provide support in the procurement and administration of the office logistics and supplies; follow-up with vendors for speedy delivery, and ensure that goods are received in good condition, properly maintained and accounted for.
-Assisting the Jerusalem Office Manager in soliciting quotations and preparing bids evaluation reports.
-Organizing and maintaining the filing of finance and administrative records


Qualifications/Skills required
-Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other relevant discipline.
-At least 2 years of relevant experience.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
-Ability to meet deadlines effectively,  and work under minor supervision
-Accuracy and attention to details, and excellent organizational skills.
-Proven computer skills, including experience using MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
-Ability to learn and use Tiri’s financial software (GMS) for financial and administrative reporting.
-Fluency in written and spoken English & Arabic, knowledge of Hebrew will be an asset.

Duty station: Jerusalem
Working language: English
Type of position: Full-time
Contract: Short term (4 months renewable)
