Finance Assistant

World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a:
Finance Assistant
(Short - term vacancy for 4 months)

The successful candidate will:

• Prepare payment vouchers to suppliers, petty cash reports and replenishment
• Assist in the preparation & recording of settlement advices (SA)
• Provide summary of all local income from both the national office and projects
• Summarize all information from vehicle log, mobile and telephone for monthly cost center allocation purposes
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by Finance and IT Manager

Qualifications/Requirements :

-Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accountancy
-At least 1 year experience in Accounting
-Must be proficient in the English language, both spoken and written
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
-Willingness and enthusiasm to learn
-Commitment to providing quality results and service
-Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
-Integrity and strong identification with World Vision Core Values
-Position is based in Jerusalem
