Oxfam in OPT is looking for a Finance Assistant that will provide financial support to the finance officers and finance coordinator and program teams focusing on a number of institutionally funded projects.

Job Requirements

Looking for the following experiences :

  • Accounting degree, minimum Bachelor level
  • Knowledge of basic accountancy theory and 2 years’ experience in a similar finance position
  • Previous experience in accountancy, either in INGO, Local NGO or in private company.
  • Computer skills – Word, Excel, use of the Internet, databases and email.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with partners/beneficiaries to insure compliance with Oxfam and Donor policies and procedures.
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, and reliable in keeping confidentiality.
  • Ability to work under pressure within the office, and prioritise routine and ad hoc tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well in a team in a multi-cultural working environment
  • A strong commitment to Gender equality and Diversity issues.
