Finance Coordinator

World Vision is an international Christian humanitarian aid agency working with the most marginalized and poor communities of the world.
World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank-Gaza is seeking a:

The successful candidate will:
Provide financial assistance and support to the North Gaza & Rafah ADPs and other grants projects
Ensure timely, accurate and integral outputs
Review and control the daily financial transactions and assure all transactions are properly approved and budgeted
Verify all supporting documents are attached in order to keep a good system of control.
Ensure timely submission of financial reports to the National office Finance Department
Provide technical supervision to the Finance Officers in North Gaza and Rafah ADPs

Qualifications:
-Bachelor in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
-Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
-Thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
-Fluency in oral and written English and Arabic
-Knowledge of Sun Systems and Vision Applications
-Ability to communicate information effectively
-Commitment to providing quality results and service
-Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining collaborative relationships
-Ability to think clearly, deeply, and broadly
-Autonomous, self-motivated, and demonstrating a high level of accountability
-Receptive to feedback and committed to learning for growth and development
-Flexibility to travel both within and outside the country
-Previous experience working with an International NGO a definite plus
-Integrity and strong identification with World Vision’s Core Values
-Split work week between North & South Gaza
