Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
Successful applicant will work with the Director of Finance to ensure accuracy of accounting and financial reporting procedures and donor requirements of the agreement. The Finance Manager will supervise directly all CHF financial staff who located in different locations in West Bank and the Gaza Strip. S/he will review and audit local recipient accounting, budgeting, banking, procurement and compliance on fund use. S/he will also monitor grantee use of funds, ensures they maintain good financial records, filing systems and accounting standards.
The position will additionally assist with day-to-day accounting of operating expenses and will maintain the various ledger accounts including reconciliation of the general ledger, revenue accounts, expenditures, and cash balances.
Key qualifications:
Ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of seven years’ experience. Education and work experience should include adequate technical training and knowledge proficiency in general auditing and accounting concepts, techniques and principles. Must be skilled with computers and Excel spread sheet applications, Knowledge of QuickBooks and prior experience working with an International NGOs is a plus. Must have excellent verbal and written Arabic and English language skills
