VITAS Palestine, is a private microfinance company shareholding limited liability company, that seeks to hire Finance manager at the Head Office in Ramallah.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible, either directly or by managing staff, for all cash management, investments, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping to drive the company’s financial strategy and hiring needs
- Ensure cash flow is compatible with company operations, by overseeing the day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities of the organization
- Lead the development and use of best-practice policies, practices, and tools that ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization with strong fiscal management, cross team communications and workflow.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
- Monitoring endowment assets and making recommendations to growing and protecting investments and to decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks with the related parties.
- Work with the senior management to efficiently develop proposal budgets, provide access to project finance information, and manage contract/grant compliance and reporting
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, identify areas of cost reduction and process enhancement
- Monitor performance with tracking, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting for earnings calls, the management team, and the rest of the company
- Reviewing and approving all journal entries for accuracy in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process
- Responsible for organization's long-term financial health and growth
- Responsible for establishing strategies that will ensure financial sustainability, guide accounting operations
- Creating and maintaining a cash management plan on a weekly and monthly basis; ensuring the organization has sufficient cash in operating accounts to meet expense projections
- Ensure overall proper reporting and provide guidance on the development and dissemination of all project financial reports.
- Timely follow-up with partners for budget control and reporting
- Communicate clearly with partners when they need to provide necessary reports and feedback
- Receive partner’s information and incorporate it as necessary for reports to donors
- Coordinate any budget re-allocations with the regional finance team and ensure that budget totals are maintained across the region
- Responsible for budget monitoring of current projects and contacts to ensure that expenditure levels are within budgets and donations.

Qualifications:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
- 10+ years of experience working with Profitable companies
- CPA, CMA, CIA preferred, or equivalent academic or work experience
- Outstanding professional and technical communication skills
- Expert-level knowledge of IFRS for profit organizations
- fund accounting experience a plus
- Extensive experience with Palestinian accounting tax
- Experience with tax provisions and tax calculations for profit operations is required
- Experience with implementing financial reporting processes and controls for large nonprofit organizations required
- Oracle cloud-based applications experience is a plus.
Skills:
- In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
