Finance Manager

Job Description
The Trade Facilitation Project is currently recruiting a long-term Trade Advisor and Finance Manager. TFP is a USAID-funded, multi-year initiative to accelerate trade and cargo movement into and out of the West Bank and Gaza. The project is headquartered in Ramallah and works closely with private business, the Palestinian Authority and the Government of Israel.
Finance Manager (full time)
The position will be responsible for project finance, accounting and procurement and that project
operations are conducted in compliance with all applicable local, Chemonics and USAID rules and regulations. Illustrative duties include:
-Process payments and non-payment transactions ; prepare and review coding sheets
-Reconcile billability of project accounts
-Administer tracking mechanisms for the required monies needed to implement field activities and request wire transfers accordingly
-Prepare and submit VAT reports.
-Perform internal audits on project accounts
-Audit local expenditures, including local bank reconciliations and US dollar expenses
-Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and USAID vetting and compliance requirements

Qualifications include:
-BA or MA in finance, accounting or related field
-Minimum five years financial management, accounting or auditing experience
-Experience in developing and managing budgets and providing detailed financial forecasting
-Knowledge of USAID project finance, accounting and compliance rules and procedures a plus.
-Fluent in English and Arabic
